The Boston Bruins are a professional ice hockey team in Boston, Massachusetts. They are members of the Department of the State of the Eastern Conference in the National League (hockey).The team has existed since 1924, entering the League as the first United States-based expansion franchise. They are also a team of six original, together with the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers. Boston currently has the second-largest total of Stanley Cup Championships won by an American team in six, with the Detroit Red Wings 11 victory. His house is the TD Garden, where they have played since 1995, after the conclusion of the Boston Garden (which had been their home since 1928). On June 15, 2011 won Boston Bruins their first Stanley Cup Championship since 1972 against the Vancouver Canucks in seven games.
